Raz is a high-performance coach, global business and leadership consultant, trainer, author and speaker. He has spent the past 25 years leading large teams and complex operations in global settings. Over the years he has led various transformation and change initiatives that have helped organizations successfully navigate through organizational restructuring, rapid growth, and expansion into new markets. In his work with organizations across sectors and industries, Raz has been recognized as someone who could cut through complexity and offer simple and pragmatic solutions that actually work!
Raz has coached, mentored, trained, and advised leaders from very diverse backgrounds. He has worked with C-level executives, military leaders, start-up founders, and elite athletes.
Raz started his career in the military, serving as a Naval Officer in the operations branch where he had the opportunity to hone his leadership, planning, and analytical skills in challenging situations. He then moved into business where he held progressively senior-level roles in global settings. Over the past several years, he has worked with early-stage entrepreneurs, taught graduate-level courses in global business management, and helped leaders and organizations realize their full potential. In his youth, Raz played Squash, Tennis, and Soccer competitively, and helped several players and teams as a Coach.
Raz is a Certified High-Performance Coach. He holds an MBA from Western University's Ivey Business School and graduated with honors from the Pakistan Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering & Operations Management. He is a Prosci certified Change Management Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt, Corporate Trainer, Professional Scrum Master, and also holds a Level 3 Certificate in Integrative Counseling from Counseling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body, UK.
Raz's interests include but are not limited to international politics, social activism, animal welfare and conservation, emergent technologies, and sports. He lives with his wife, two kids, and a cat in the Greater Toronto Area.
